The US-Nepal Friendship team has had its 1st success, on 5/13/22 Pasang Phurba Sherpa summited Mount Everest with the US-Nepal Friendship team flag, which was presented to the team by the US embassy in Kathmandu. The flag will now be brought to Alaska and brought to the summit of Denali. Our team celebrates the 75 years of diplomatic relations and represents the unity between the United States and Nepal. For me personally this expedition is to show the respect and recognition the Sherpa people deserve for their tireless efforts on major Himalayan expeditions throughout mountaineering history.
