Good Morning! It is 8:45am GMT +5 on November 4th, 2021. Today is the beginning of our acclimatization hike to Camp 1. This should take 6-6.5 hours. We will be stashing gear there for our summit push. I’m feeling good and excited to start hiking up the mountain. I can see people summiting right now and they look like specs of dust on the mountain! The weather looks good and after November 8th will be even better. Right now every morning has been clear, sunny and beautiful.
Reaching Camp 1
With lungs on fire from the altitude, we made it to Camp 1! Our tent is built right into the steep mountain. Its 5:50PM and I’m off to bed!
